La Pasion Y Muerte de Dr. Rizal
La Pasión Y Muerte del Dr. Rizal- A 1912 silent movie based on the final hours and martyrdom of Dr. José Rizal. Produced and directed by an American Albert Yearsly, it was the second movie produced in the Philippines (The first was La Vida de Rizal). The movie was first shown at the defunct Manila Grand Opera House in Avenida Rizal. The movie was sometimes called "El Fusilamiento de Rizal". The reference used for the film was the Rizal biography by Austin Craig.
